Bathing in champagne, private jets, weekends in exclusive destinations. No, it isn’t a movie, this is reality for some of the richest kids of London. While many of will never live these lavish lifestyles, we can experience them through Instagram. Dubbed the page for the “life of the untouchable rich kids,” this page features some crazy expensive cars, private jets and lots of references to peasants. Which would be us, the “poor” people.
The Rich Kids of London Instagram page was set by a 24-year-old property broker at the end of last year. It has caused plenty of controversy because of its many references to calling less well-off people, “peasants” and “plebs.” However, the creator says all of the name-calling is tongue-in-cheek and he promises he knows the people he posts from. Wouldn’t it be nice to be in his friend circle.
“I have spoken to them and now I hang out with all super rich kids at most exclusive clubs in Mayfair, Knightsbridge and Chelsea,” he told MailOnline.
In fact, he says that he is really just doing us all a favor. He explains that he set up the page to help motivate people to do well in life.
“I get messages every day from people saying my page has made them work very hard to achieve their dream and want to aim for higher.”
Please explain how a flaming bottle of Cristal will help motivate me to get wealthy?
Whatever it means, at least we can dream.
