“That’s A Big Ass Gator”, Reddit Trolls Terrified Fisherman

Big Ass Gator

One fisherman and his son got more than they bargained for when they checked one of their catfish traps. Equipped with a GoPro and pedal boat, Lance Burgos thought he was going to get some great footage of a epic catfish. As he reaches for the line, he struggles to pull it to the surface. That’s when he sees the giant jaws of an alligator. Terrified, Burgos pedals for his life as his son cries in the background.

“That’s a big ass gator, son. That’s a big gator,” Burgos says as they pedal to safety.

Why yes, Lance. That is more than a big ass gator, that is one huge alligator. Here’s a GIF of the moment Burgos crapped his pants.

The video continues as the fisherman contemplates what just happened and how close he came to becoming bait. With more 100,000 views, Burgos uploaded the footage with the description of the unforgettable moment.

“See what I found on a noodle near our campsite. It wasn’t what I expected. Kayaking and camping at Lake Fausse Point State Park, St. Martinville, La., will never be the same.”

Of course, the video is going viral and made its way to the front page of Reddit, where the trolls came out to play. Many pointed out how furiously Burgos pedaled to get away from the danger and recalled this hilarious GIF.

Others began to mess around with the video and substitute the alligator for off the wall subjects, such as Peyton Manning. And yet others offered Burgos advice for next time, like bringing a cat. Trust us on that one.
