Equality never tasted sweeter.
Ben & Jerry’s has done it again, and this time, they’re giving a classic flavor their sweetest “I Dough” — they’ve renamed their staple “Chocolate-Chip Cookie Dough” flavor to “I Dough, I Dough” to celebrate the historic SCOTUS same-sex marriage ruling yesterday.

Ice cream lovers may enjoy their favorite chocolatey flavor this summer at Ben & Jerry’s shops, or with just a click of an online purchase at Human Rights Campaign‘s website. The proceeds will benefit the equal-rights group.
The Vermont-based ice cream company has long been an advocate for LGBT rights. In 1989, they became one of the first companies to offer health insurance to same-sex domestic partners. They also happily renamed their “Chubby Hubby” flavor “Hubby Hubby” to cheer the legalization of gay marriage in Vermont in 2009.

Ben & Jerry’s has always been one to put their money where their mouth is, and have always stood on their stances through their ice cream. Last month, they created a brand-new flavor to fight climate change, and they’ve openly aid they’re open to creating “weed-flavored ice cream”.
They also do know that once the “I doughs” are done, there’s still so much left to do. They encourage consumers and advocates alike to keep the the work going and moving forward by pledging to fight for human rights. #LoveWins this day, but we must always be vigilant and keep it winning, because #LoveCantWait.
