Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson were just two people who were swept up in the Fifty Shades Of Grey madness this weekend. The movie took in more than $80 million over Valentine’s Day weekend.
According to Box Office Mojo, Fifty Shades Of Grey had the fifth highest opening for an R-rated movie behind The Matrix Reloaded, American Sniper, The Hangover Part II and The Passion of the Christ.

The movie may have been a hit at theaters but critics were less than impressed. The movie currently has a 26% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, with one critic writing: “A charm-free hero with control issues and a passive, fretful heroine have coy and tediously vanilla pretend-sex. This is meant to be erotic?”
Well, Jessica Simpson seems to have enjoyed it. The actress posted three Fifty Shades Of Grey inspired photos to her Instagram account over the weekend. The reaction was a bit mixed. Some people applauded Simpson and Johnson for keeping their sex life exciting after a couple of kids and a few years of marriage, while others insisted that these private moments should have been kept private.
