When Netflix announced that it was going to resurrect the title with some members of the original cast, most people assumed we’d see a handful of Camp Firewood’s counselors return. Well, Netflix went above and beyond. The streaming network confirmed that pretty much everyone from the original movie wil appear in the new series.

Elizabeth Banks, Amy Poehler, David Hyde Pierce, Paul Rudd, Janeane Garofalo, Joe Lo Truglio, Michael Ian Black, Bradley Cooper, Christopher Meloni, Marguerite Moreau, Judah Friedlander, Ken Marino, Zak Orth, Molly Shannon and Michael Showalter are all returning to Camp Firewood.
Netflix also got the movie’s original director David Wain to return for the new project.
Netflix released a teaser for Wet Hot American Summer: First Day Of Camp but don’t get too excited, because this teaser is basically just a cast announcement.
