Triple H is undoubtedly one of the biggest stars of pro wrestling of all time, having been a prominent figure in the then-WWF alongside names like Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock. However, unlike many of his contemporaries, the man known as ‘The Game’ is still a regular fixture of weekly WWE television.
However, rather than being a wrestler, he’s adopted a role similar to his real-life father-in-law Vince McMahon. As the leader of the villainous ‘Authority’, Triple H is no stranger to upsetting his audience, and that’s just what happened last night — although what came afterwards was rather more unexpected.
One young fan sat in the front row was so unsettled by Triple H’s plot to make fan favorite John Cena face off against three men in the evening’s main event was reduced to tears. However, to the surprise of many, Triple H was photographed comforting the boy shortly afterwards as the action continued in the ring.

It seems that the ‘Cerebral Assassin’ actually has a heart of gold. For all the machismo and testosterone contained in the average broadcast of Monday Night Raw, it’s always refreshing to see WWE Superstars take the time out to interact with their biggest fans — even if it’s typically not the biggest villain on the show.
WWE wrestlers are well known for their continued work with the Make-a-Wish Foundation, visiting sick children as they tour the United States and further afield. Other causes supported by the company include the Susan G. Komen Foundation and the various child literacy groups that take part in the WrestleMania Reading Challenge.
Triple H, himself a father to two girls with on-screen co-conspirator Stephanie McMahon, is expected to battle Sting at the biggest WWE show of the year, WrestleMania. While both veterans have largely moved on from regular in-ring competition, the annual ‘Showcase of the Immortals’ typically features legends from years gone by as well as stars of today like Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan.
In this day and age, pro wrestlers have to be more cautious than ever if they want to maintain their mystique — but who can really blame Triple H for making up with a young fan that he upset?
What do you think of Triple H’s actions on Raw? Are you glad to see him make good with the young fan, or would you have rather seen him keep up the cold shoulder? Let us know in the comments section below, or get in touch via Twitter by following @SocialNewsDaily.
