Mashable has the latest dish on who will be performing at the 2015 Grammys. It seems as if we are in for a great night of entertainment!
No award show is complete without the original queen of pop. This will be her fifth Grammy performance. She has a big show to top after last year’s performance, which featured a mass wedding ceremony. She will be performing a few tunes from her new album, Rebel Heart.
Everyone’s favorite redhead, Ed Sheeran, will perform and is nominated for Album of the Year, Best Pop Vocal Album and Best Song Written for Visual Media.
The newest diva on the block, Ariana Grande, is performing as well. She is nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for ‘Bang, Bang’ and Best Pop Vocal Album. No word on whether her ponytail extensions will make an appearance.
Country star, Eric Church, is nominated in four different categories: Best Country Solo Performance, Best Country Song, Best Country Duo/Group Performance for “Raise ‘Em Up” and Best Country Album.
Classic rock, ACDC will perform minus one band member. Their guitarist, Malcolm Young, had to leave the group last year after a debilitating illness. Young’s nephew, Stevie, will fill in. No worries though, the band will have plenty of new material to play from their latest album that dropped in December.
Many have noted that the three most popular artists at the Grammys are absent from the performing roster: Beyonce, Sam Smith and Pharrell. No need to panic, sources say they will likely be added closer to the show’s air date.
Almost every genre of popular music will be represented from pop to rock. The Grammys will air February 8.
