Lisa Bonet: I Never Tweeted About Bill Cosby

Did Lisa Bonet really say that karma was catching up to Bill Cosby?

A tweet which appeared as if it came from Bonet, who played Denise Huxtable on The Cosby Show, started circulating on Twitter earlier this week.

But that isn’t Bonet’s account. The actress says that she does not use Twitter and that she certainly has not made any comments about her former co-star Bill Cosby.

Bonet’s manager released a statement today: “Lisa Bonet has no social media of any kind … Any posts made in her name were made by impersonators with unverified accounts. She also has no comment on the ongoing story.”

Actress Raven-Symone was also dragged into the Bill Cosby controversy earlier this week. Some people started a false report claiming that Symone, who played Rudy on the hit show, was assaulted by the comedian.

Symone addressed the issue on her Instagram page: “I was NOT taking advantage of by Mr. Cosby when I was on the Cosby Show! I was practically a baby on that show and this is truly a disgusting rumor that I want no part of! Everyone on that show treated me with nothing but kindness. Now keep me out of this!”
