Eaten Alive By Anaconda? New Discovery Channel Stunt Shocks The Internet

Have you ever wanted to watch a man get eaten alive by an anaconda? No? Well then you shouldn’t watch the Discovery Channel on December 7. The network’s new show, “Eaten Alive,” will show naturalist and wildlife filmmaker Paul Rosolie being swallowed by a giant snake.

According to ABC, the segment has already been filmed. Rosolie wore a special suit covered in pig’s blood and was eaten “head first” by the anaconda. The snake then regurgitated Rosolie. Both the filmmaker and the snake reportedly escaped the stunt in one piece.

Still, animal rights activists are skeptical and are worried that the snake was harmed during the episode. Rosolie insists that he would “never hurt a living animal” but told viewers that they would have to tune in on December 7 to see how it all goes down.

The Discovery Channel has been trying to boost its audience with “shocking” programs like “Eaten Alive.” Last week, the channel brought in 5.8 million viewers for the broadcast of Nik Wallenda’s walking a tightrope between to Chicago skyscrapers.

What do you think of “Eaten Alive?” Are you going to tune in on December 7?
