Amanda Bynes: I’ve Been Diagnosed With Bipolar Disorder

Amanda Bynes took to Twitter this morning to tell her fans that she’s been diagnosed with bipolar disorder.

The actress, who recently spent some time in a treatment facility in California, says that she is currently on medication and is seeing a psychiatrist.

I was diagnosed bi – polar and manic depressive so I’m on medication and I’m seeing my psychologist and pyshchiatrist weekly so I’m fine 😀

This is a bit of a change of heart for Amanda Bynes. The actress seemed offended last month when some of her fans expressed concern about her mental health. Bynes said that she wasn’t crazy. She was, however, emotionally disturbed due to the sexual abuse she experienced as a child. Bynes is currently battling with her parents over money and, according to her Twitter feed, she has to play nice with the therapists to get control of her finances.

Of course, it’s hard to find the truth in Bynes’ tweets. After admitting that she had been diagnosed with bi-polar disorder, Bynes wrote that her friends had been playing with her phone.

We don’t know exactly what’s going on with Amanda Bynes but we hope that she finds the help she needs.
