So this looks pretty awesome. We still don’t know much about Tomorrowland but this trailer has us pretty excited.
Maybe it’s because it’s so mysterious. A lot of trailers these days showcase a movie’s best scenes but not the Tomorrowland trailer. This is truly a teaser that leaves you with more questions than answers.
Clooney says: “What if there was a place, a secret place where nothing was impossible? A miraculous place where you could actually change the world. You wanna go?”
Disney has been pretty secretive about its new project. We know that the movie will star George Clooney and Robertson, that it will be directed by Brad Bird, and that it was written by Damon Lindelof and Jeff Jensen. But that’s about it.
Here’s the synopsis from Disney: “In Disney’s riveting mystery adventure Tomorrowland, a jaded scientist and an optimistic teen embark on a danger-filled mission to unearth the secrets of an enigmatic place somewhere in time and space.”
The Verge reports that Hugh Laurie, Tim McGraw, and Keegan Michael Key will also appear in the new movie. Tomorrowland, which is loosely based around one of the rides at Disney’s theme parks, is slated for release in May of 2015.
