Director Colin Trevorrow gave another hint about the plot of Jurassic World this morning on Twitter.
We already know that the new movie will bring Chris Pratt and crew back to the original island. We also know that Jurassic World will feature a fully functioning dinosaur theme park. What we don’t know is what happened in the two decades between the third Jurassic Park movie and the latest installment.
Trevorrow may have given some insight into the issue this morning on Twitter.

If you remember, that’s the sign that Newman knocked over when he was trying to steal dino DNA in a super cool can of shaving cream in the first movie. The can of shaving cream has been at the center of several plot theories and it looks like it may make an appearance in Jurassic World.
The theory has been debunked before since, according to the first movie, the dino DNA could only survive 48 hours, but are we really going to hold Jurassic World to logical explanations? They brought back dinosaurs from a mosquito frozen in amber.
Of course, the fallen sign could just be a little tip of the hat to the original series and may not have anything to do with the plot.
What do you think? Will we see Newman / Wayne Knight / Dennis Nedry’s can of shaving cream in Jurassic World?
The new movie, which stars Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Ty Simpkins, Idris Elba and Vincent D’Onofrio, will hit theaters on June 12, 2015.
