First iPhone 6 Gets Dropped On Live TV [Video]

Jack Cooksey was the first consumer to get his hand on a new iPhone 6. And then, a few moments later, he was the first person to drop it.

Cooksey was walking out of an Apple Store in Perth, Australia when he was stopped by a reporter. The young man was so excited to show off his new iPhone 6 that he accidentally dropped it on the pavement.

And to make it more embarrassing, Cooksey squealed with terror as his iPhone 6 plummeted to the ground. Here’s the video of the iPhone 6 drop heard round the world.

On the bright side, it doesn’t appear like Cooksey damaged his iPhone. The young Australian took to Twitter to tell Apple that his iPhone passed his world famous fall test.

Apple fanboys around the country have been lining up at Apple Stores to get their hands on the new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. Of course, not everyone can afford Apple’s latest product. Check out this photo of a homeless man outside of an Apple store this week.
