Pierce Brosnan made a great James Bond but he makes a terrible James Bond video game player. The actor accepted Jimmy Fallon’s GoldenEye challenge last night and, well, let’s just say that Brosnan didn’t do that great.
But we shouldn’t be too surprised. For one, Jimmy Fallon declared that GoldenEye 007 was the greatest video game of all-time and that it was a childhood (college) dream to play the game with Brosnan. So, we’re guessing that Fallon has spent at least a few hours playing GoldenEye with his friends.
Second, Brosnan said that he had only played the game once and the only thing he managed to do in the game was shoot himself in the foot.
Still… he’s James Bond. You’d expect him to know how to pick up a gun. Brosnan runs around the level using that stupid chop move, passing up weapons and armor, and Fallon easily shoots him dead.
Pierce Brosnan hasn’t played James Bond for a few years but that doesn’t mean he’s out of the spygame. The actor is currently promoting his new movie The November Men about an ex-CIA agent who gets pulled out of retirement for one final mission.
