If you have not heard of the Ice Bucket Challenge you’re doing the internet wrong. This challenge for ALS, aka Lou Gehrig’s Disease, has coated Facebook with videos of people pouring ice water on themselves and challenging others to do the same. Even celebrities have accepted the challenge.
Perhaps the best video to surface the internet was uploaded to Facebook on August 5 by Gabriella Palko from Barrington, Rhode Island. What makes this video special is that Gabriella is joined by her father, Kreg, in the challenge who has ALS.
In the social media post, Gabriella captions her father’s small speech where thanks everyone for joining in and showing support:
