Being LeBron James’ neighbor has its perks. Sure, you have to deal with a never ending media circus but you occasionally get free cupcakes.
The former Miami Heat star reportedly sent cupcakes to his neighbors this week to apologize for the chaos following the Decision 2.0.
A photo of the cupcakes, along with a message from the James family, was posted onto Reddit this week.
The message reads: “Dear friends. We know things have been hectic in the neighborhood these past few weeks and we are sorry for the chaos. We are so thankful to live in this wonderful community and are so blessed to have understanding neighbors like you. Our family wants to give you something that is very dear to us, our foundations cupcakes.”

And in case you were wondering, the neighbors got two different cupcakes to try. The “Just a Kid From Akron” Cherry Cola Cupcakes (gross) and the Home Court Chocolate Chunk cupcakes (delicious).
Cupcakes were an interesting choice for LeBron James. Before he made the announcement that he was moving back to Cleveland a local cupcake shop posted a Facebook message hinting at his return. It sounds like LeBron James knew that he was returning to Cleveland long before he made his announcement.
