Jeremy Meeks Death Hoax: Attractive Mugshot Guy Gets Killed On Twitter

Congratulations Jeremy Meeks, you’ve truly made it. A Jeremy Meeks death hoax has been circulating around the internet lately, claiming that the attractive mugshot guy was killed by his wife as soon as he got out of prison.

The fake story, which originally appeared on the website Huzlers, reads:

“According to jail records, Jeremy Meek was released from jail just before midnight on Tuesday night. About an hour later, just before 1 a.m. on Wednesday morning, Stockton Police found him laying in the road in the area of Dayton and West in Central Stockton. He was taken to Community Regional Medical Center where he died from his wounds shortly after arriving.”

The article claims that Meeks returned home to his wife, Lashanda, after being released from prison. They immediately started to fight. The fight ended when Lashanda pulled a gun and killed her husband.

Now, none of this is true. But it did fool a few people on Twitter.

Meeks is still in prison and he could be there for a long time. He is currently being charged with felony weapon possession and could be sentenced to 10 years.

Even so, thing aren’t to bleak for Meeks. He was reportedly offered a modeling contract after his arrest and due to his good looks and the fact that the internet is obsessed with him, t wouldn’t be surprising too see him land some sort of reality show gig. “Dancing With Felons,” maybe. “American Prison Warrior.” “So You Think You Can Escape?”

Regardless, Jeremy Meeks can rest easy in his cell tonight knowing that he has truly made it in this world. He joins an elite club of death hoax victims including Chumlee, Wayne Knight, and Sharkeisha.
