Toews And Kane Sign 8-Year, $84 Million Contract Extensions

Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane are going to be Chicago Blackhawks for a longtime.

The superstar duo signed an 8-year, $84 million contract extension today that will see them in Blackhawks uniforms until the 2022-22 season. Needless to say, Chicago fans are pretty excited about the news.

Toews and Kane definitely deserve those ridiculously large contracts. They are both Conn Smythe Trophy winners and have led the Blackhawks to two Stanley Cup victories.

Still, those contracts are pretty shocking no matter how much they are deserved. Toews and Kane will be making about $28,000 a day for the next 8 years.
