Getting arrested was the best thing that ever happened to Jeremy Meeks. The man behind the “Attractive Mugshot” has reportedly landed a $30,000 modeling contract.
That’s right, folks. Instead of worrying about a couple of gun related felonies, Meeks is getting ready to step in front of the camera.
According to TMZ, Meeks signed a $30,000 modeling contract with Blaze Models in Los Angeles. He will be represented by Gina Rodriguez of GR Media who also represents internet stars like Tan Mom.
Meeks became a viral sensation after his mugshot went viral. People around the world swooned over his dreamy blue eyes and chiseled chin and seemingly forgot that he was being held on $900,000 bond for felony weapon charges.
It’s unclear who Meeks will model for in the future. If Blaze Models wants to get an idea of what Meeks would look like in a Gucci, Armani, or Dolce and Gabbana campaign, all they have to do is turn to twitter.

I can’t tell if this is really depressing or a little uplifting. On one hand, this guy has the chance to turn his life around. On the other, Jeremy Meeks landing a modeling contract shows just how superficial our society really is.
