Twitter Celebrates Gifs On Twitter With… Yes, Gifs

Twitter now supports gifs! The social media site announced this week that users will now be able to put gifs on Twitter. And, well, that’s exactly what people have been doing.

The internet loves a good gif. The little moveable pictures are extremely popular on sites like Tumblr but they’ve never been utilized on Twitter. Previously, users had click on a link in order to view a gif included in a tweet. Now, gifs will work right on Twitter’s web application, ios, and android devices. Basically, get ready for a gif invasion on Twitter.
