An Angry Birds Transformers game is in the works.
Rovio announced this morning that it would be teaming up with Hasbro to develop an Angry Birds Transformers spin-off. Details about the game aren’t available yet but we do know that Hasbro and Rovio are also working on a new line of TELEPODS toys to compliment the game.
The Angry Birds Transformers game doesn’t have a release date yet but Rovio said that new game was “coming soon to the app store.”
Angry Birds is one of the most popular mobile games of all-time and Rovio has certainly done their best to capitalize on the game’s popularity. The company has release several versions of the game including one that took the angry birds into the Star Wars universe.
The reactions to the new game have been mixed. Some people are pretty excited about a new Angry Birds game while others think that combining the game with Transformers is the stupidest idea in the history of the world.

Yes, this is a pretty ridiculous pairing. On the other hand, it’s practically guaranteed to make money.
