Dunkin’ Donuts Launches Spooktacular Instagram Campaign

Dunkin’ Donuts is known for their sugary treats and raved-about coffee, and is trying to raise awareness for their new mobile payments application. To do that, the doughnut giant has launched an Instagram campaign that is focused around Halloween.

Fans of the brand can select from several Halloween-themed mobile cards which can then be used for purchases at any of retail locations.

“We’re an exciting brand, and we think our guests who expect a little fun from us will really appreciate and enjoy the new Halloween designs as a way to celebrate the season. As Dunkin’ Donuts is the only national coffee retailer to enable people to send virtual gift cards via text, email and Facebook Connect, we hope the special designs will encourage people to spread the Halloween spirit to friends and family by sending a Dunkin’ mGift.”

To have even more Halloween fun, they announced the return of the Boston Scream Donut for a limited time through October 31st. For those who use Instagram, they’ll be giving away a $100 gift card every day through October 29th.

For a chance to win, fans must dress up their coffee cups and post them with the hashtag #DresseDD. On Halloween, they’ll share the five winners who each will receive a $100 gift card.

It’s a fun way for Dunkin’ Donuts customers to have a little bit of fun and maybe, just maybe, win a gift card that’ll last a while.
