Comedians Chat Over Freaky Nature Footage In ‘Our Disgusting Planet’ [NSFW]

Funny Video

Nature can be incredibly inspiring and terrifying at the same time, and a new video from a couple comedians puts a fun spin on your typical documentary.

Called Our Disgusting Planet, Michael Malone and DJ Dangler “share their love of nature and dick jokes in an informative and candid exploration of the natural world and its inhabitants disgusting behaviors.”

This first episode is all about fish, flying fish to be exact, and a super uncomfortable process involving mating around a fallen palm branch, totally encasing it in a certain, uhhh, sticky substance.

Malone and Dangler, which we should add is an awesome last name, chime in through the awkwardness, occasionally adding a groan-inducing yet still pretty great joke.

The footage is from episode four in BBC One’s Life series, which originally aired in September 2011.

Here’s some other, less vomit-inducing facts about flying fish:

  • Flying fish reach speeds of 37 miles per hour before breaking through the surface
  • They can hit a height of 4 feet, and glide on the water’s surface for up to over 650 feet
  • Flying fish eat plankton, tiny marine animals and lots of pineapple
  • Like penguins, they can’t really fly

Our Disgusting Planet currently only has a couple dozen views, but Michael Malone and DJ Dangler may be behind the next viral sensation.
