Andre ‘Sans’ Johnson: Twitter Mocks Rapper After Suicide Attempt

Andre Johnson tried to commit suicide today and the internet thought it was absolutely hilarious. The North Star rapper cut off his own penis and jumped from the window of a Los Angeles apartment building.

It’s a sad, scary story that almost resulted in a man’s death. But in Twitter’s defense, who can pass up a good penis joke?

Los Angeles Police Sgt. William Mann told CNN that the musician, as well as his severed penis, was taken to a nearby hospital after the fall. It is unclear if doctor’s will be able to reattach it.

Raw Story reports that North Star released their debut album, RZA Presents Northstar, in 2004 after a collaboration with the Wu-Tang Clan. The band, however, disagrees.

Wu Tang released a statement on their website today distancing themselves from Andre Johnson.

Wu Tang said: Parental Advisory : Don’t Believe The HYPE. This Mother Fucker Ain’t Got Shit to do with The WUTANG Brand.

We don’t have too many other details about Andre Johnson’s suicide attempt. Two members of the group North Star told the Huffington Post that Johnson hadn’t used “any hard drugs that would cause him to do such a thing.” Both members said that Johnson’s suicide attempt came completely without warning.

The fact that Johnson tried to cut off his penis is also mind boggling. A message posted to a Twitter account reportedly belonging to Christ Bearer urged all of the single ladies to get in contact with him.
