Zac Efron is frequently the subject of social media desire on #ManCrushMonday but this week it’s a little different. After a shirtless performance at the MTV Music Awards last night, well, let’s just say that the other Hollywood hunks don’t have a chance today.
Efron won the award for “Best Shirtless Performance” for the movie That Awkward Moment and if MTV handed out awards for “Best Shirtless Acceptance Speech” he would have won that too.
Of course, we really should all thank Rita Ora for giving Efron a little nudge on stage.
Needless to say, photos of a shirtless Zac Efron quickly filled up Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. The actor has been trending since the incident happened last night on MTV and, since it’s also #ManCrushMonday today, he’ll probably be at the top of the trending list for the rest of the day.

Of course, it wasn’t all flattery at the MTV Movie Awards for Zac Efron. When he was introduced, Jessica Alba sort of flubbed his name. The actress added a little too much “ee” when she introduced Efron.
