Popular Facebook App, Game Of Thrones: Ascent Now Available On iPad

Game of Thrones

Games of Thrones: Ascent is a social Facebook game that lets you play the part of a noble in Westoros, where you will choose a great house, develop your land and reputation, assign sworn swords to quests, and forge alliances with your friends.

The game is based on HBO’s show the Game of Thrones. You can play with or against other players in a creative, authentic world. In-game content from the show’s new season will be released every Monday after each episode.

Game of Thrones: Ascent was already available through Facebook apps, but today it has been launched on the iPad to bring its players a mobile experience.

“Everyone at Disruptor Beam was a huge fan of Game of Thrones long before we began working on the game, so we recognize that other fans expect character-driven conflict and intrigue to take center stage in our new game,” said CEO Jon Radoff after announcing the game.

The game has over 2.5 million players who compete against each other by earning points to improve their global ranking and using GameCenter to compete in the power leaderboards. Players can also challenge their friends to match their achievements.
