3D Software Company Autodesk Launches Mobile Instant Messenger

Autodesk Instant

Autodesk, a software company that makes 3D software for the architecture, engineering, construction, manufacturing, and entertainment industries has launched a mobile instant messaging app for enterprise users.

The app, Autodesk Instant, is expected to be integrated with its software. It enables people to create work groups for projects, teams, or social occasions, share messages, photo, video, location, and communicate with coworkers who don’t have the app installed.

It also features a ‘company townhall’ where users can message everyone in their organization.

They hope the messaging product will capture the attention of teams on their mobile phones where they are already communicating with one another. Much of Autodesk’s current software is built around collaboration, so they likely have a really good idea of what users in the enterprise messaging space want and how it can be useful for them.

Autodesk wants to make sure that communications in enterprise that happens between teams in professional environments can be controlled by enterprise.

The company wants its messaging app to be flexible enough to where it can fit into existing platforms. Autodesk Instant is available on both iOS and Android.
