RT anchor Liz Wahl took a giant, steaming (figurative) dump on Russia Today this week when she resigned on-air, citing comrade Putin’s meanness in Ukraine as the reason.
Wahl lays it out pretty succinctly in the video above, and it’s a pretty epic “U-S-A! U-S-A!” moment for anyone still chapped about the Cold War. In all seriousness, RT has indeed been soft-balling the Russian administration MSNBC-style (except that RT is actually state-sponsored while MSNBC is just doing it for the lulz).
RT has called Wahl’s on-air crisis of conscience unprofessional, but regardless of their reaction, the clip of her resignation is one of YouTube’s most popular videos today. Watch it above.
