Twitter’s Sanctibaby Lampshades Imaginary ‘Mommy Wars,’ No One Gets The Joke

sanctibaby

The new @Sanctibaby Twitter account is just four days old, obviously not manned by a real baby, and remains firmly presented tongue-in-cheek — and still some sensitive Twitter moms can’t tell satire from sanctimony. (Probably formula feeders, amirite?)

While Sanctibaby takes aim at all sorts of haughty declarations emanating from the echo chamber of mommy blogging, the premise of finding “mommy wars” (an invented issue itself) wholly silly is still a mystery to Twitter users who reply that the tweets are “judgmental.” Duh.

One of Sanctibaby’s first tweets went straight for the c-section jugular, garnering predictable responses from people still capable of feeling bad at the pretend words of a fake baby:

The same user waded in when @Sanctibaby joked about the formula vs. breastmilk “debate,” and the following exchange ensued:

PSSST … IT’S A JOKE, LADY.

The sanctimonious baby continues:

Ahahahahahahaahaha:

Boom:

You can follow Sanctibaby over on Twitter, but do try to restrain your corrective urges.
