Facebook Messenger Launches On Windows Phone

Facebook Messenger has long been available on Android and iOS devices, and has finally arrived on Windows Phone.

During an event last week leading up to Mobile World Congress, Windows Phone VP and Manager Joe Belfiore announced the app would be launching soon.

It seems Microsoft and Facebook have stuck to that promise, and it has not all, but most of the bells and whistles.

Facebook Messenger has been redesigned for Windows Phone, and you can go overboard with emojis and stickers.

While you can send photos, there’s currently no ability to make voice calls or send recorded messages.

You can download Facebook Messenger for Windows Phone here, and scratch your head trying to figure out why it took over two years.
