Sochi 2014 officially came to an end Sunday, and we got to see Russia win the most medals at 33 while also being the butt of many jokes.

The Olympic games are a big place for advertising, and social media monitoring company Engagor analyzed the most popular brands on social media.

Visa received the most mentions of any sponsor with over 183,000 on Twitter, and nearly 94,000 on Facebook.

Here were the companies with the highest volume of brand mentions:

  • Visa – 78,627 mentions, 96 percent positive sentiment
  • Omega – 77,355 mentions, 93 percent positive sentiment
  • Samsung – 71,536 mentions, 44 percent positive sentiment
  • McDonald’s – 43,783 mentions, 46 percent positive sentiment
  • Coca-Cola – 22,990 mentions, 55 percent positive sentiment
  • GE – 7,977 mentions, 70 percent positive sentiment
  • P&G – 7,232 mentions, 92 percent positive sentiment
  • Dow – 5,994 mentions, 68 percent positive sentiment
  • Atos – 5,969 mentions, 85 percent positive sentiment
  • Panasonic – 5,957 mentions, 97 percent positive sentiment

The U.S. was the most engaged country at 73 percent, and here were the top 10 most engaging brands at the Sochi Winter Olympics:

Samsung was the top sponsor in Bobsleigh, followed by McDonald’s in Curling and Luge.

Visa was the top sponsor in Figure Skating and Skeleton, and Coca-Cola took the top spot in Speed Skating.
