Adding a new social network to your brands arsenal is a delicate situation. If you go into it without understanding the social platform being used you could do more damage than good. Yet with Pinterest maintaining a super high level of viral content (80 percent of pins are repins), it is hard not to imagine a scenario in which a CEO at a company would not want to use the social network to draw in traffic to their products and services.
From January through August 2012 traffic at Pinterest grew by 116 and with those types of numbers now is the perfect time for company’s to jump on the Pinterest bandwagon.
