Check Out This Portait Of Stephen Fry, It’s Made Out Of His Own Bacteria

Stephen Fry and his Bacteriograph

A new Stephen Fry portrait is making its way around the web because of its unique creation process. Fry, Carol Vorderman, and various other celebrities have joined up with The Big Bang UK Young Scientists Engineers Fair in a weird and wonderful scientific experiment to grow portraits made of their own bacteria.

Known as bacteriographs, the portraits take time to cultivate, but ultimately provide a rather strikingly close portrait of each participant.

The Big Bang Fair takes place between 13 and 16 March 2014. You can learn more at TheBigBangFair.co.uk
