‘The Fancy’ Launches Subscription Box Service

Pinterest competitor The Fancy announced on Thursday a new subscription box service. The social network has described itself as the “Pinterest for shopping” a title that fits well with its newest offering.

The monthly subscription box provides The Fancy users with $60 worth of goods for just $30 per month. Users to the site are allowed to choose which category they would like to subscribe. Categories include such options as men’s, women’s, gadgets, kids, home and media among others.

With approximately 2 million registered users The Fancy allows users to save product pictures and their destinations. The system has been hailed by analysts for its ability to create affiliate links to earn money. The Fancy also suggests similar products based on a users shares.

Bosses at The Fancy have been busy, over the weekend the website announced a partnership with American Express which gives $20 back to customers who spend $100 through the site between now and the end of the month. Purchases must be made using the customers American Express credit card.
