Mark Zuckerberg Loses $8 Billion, Falls Below $10 Billion In Personal Wealth

Mark Zuckerberg Worth 9 billion dollars now

When Facebook went public Mark Zuckerberg instantly became worth $17.5 billion, sitting at number 14 on the Forbes money list. Fast forward just a few months later and Zuckerberg has lost $8 billion and is now worth $9.4 billion.

In the same period of time Zuckerberg’s Google co-founder competitors Sergey Brin and Larry Page have added $4 billion to their personal coffers and are now tied for 13th place on the Forbes list.

Based on his new wealth factor Mark Zuckerberg is worth the same amount of money as News Corp. founder Rupert Murdoch.

With his huge tax bill already settled and Facebook appearing to right its ship I wouldn’t be surprised if Zuck makes the top 15 list in the near future. Then again Facebook could become the new MySpace and relegate itself to music and comedy clips.
