Facebook shared its Q4 2013 earnings today, and reported a 63 percent increase in revenue to $2.59 billion.
For the first time ever, mobile ad revenue made up more than half or 53 percent of total revenue, and net income was $523 million.
In terms of active users, here are the latest results:
- 1.23 billion monthly active users (16 percent increase year-over-year)
- 757 million daily active users (22 percent increase year-over-year)
- 945 million mobile monthly active users (39 percent increase year-over-year)
- 556 million mobile daily active users (49 percent increase year-over-year)
Nearly 77 percent of Facebook’s monthly active users now access the social network on mobile, and here’s what CEO Mark Zuckerberg had to say:
“It was a great end to the year for Facebook. We’re looking forward to our next decade and to helping connect the rest of the world.”
