Facebook Used For 51% Of Social Logins, Google+ Trails Behind

As we previously reported, Facebook is the leader in social referrals, and according to a new infographic from Gigya, accounts for 51 percent of social logins.

Today, Gigya published social login results for Q4 2013, and here they are:

  • Facebook – 51 percent
  • Google+ – 28 percent
  • Yahoo – 15 percent
  • Twitter – 4 percent
  • LinkedIn – 1 percent
  • Other – 1 percent

On mobile devices, Facebook and Twitter saw a three percent decrease in social logins from Q3 2013, and Google+ saw a five percent increase.

Here is the breakdown of mobile social logins:

  • Facebook – 63 percent
  • Google+ – 25 percent
  • Twitter – 6 percent
  • Yahoo – 5 percent
  • Other – 1 percent

Facebook and Google+ are the top two social login providers across five different industries, and here’s how they compare:

  • Ecommerce – 76 percent for Facebook, 16 percent for Google+
  • Media/Publishers – 45 percent for Facebook, 32 percent for Google+
  • Consumer Brands – 66 percent for Facebook, 18 percent for Google+
  • Travel/Hospitality – 59 percent for Facebook, 26 percent for Google+
  • Education/Non-Profit – 79 percent for Facebook, 14 percent for Google+

The dominance continues across the world, with Facebook the most popular social login provider in the Asia/Pacific region at 82 percent.
