Sounds like Noel Gallagher hasn’t seen his band’s videos since the 90’s. The former Oasis lead guitarist recently did some commentary on a compilation of the band’s old music videos, and the result is pretty much on par with the “Gallagher belligerence” of music legend.
Deriding the artistic direction as “f*cking nonsense,” Gallagher watches old Oasis videos as if for the first time, recalling how “pissed” he was during some shoots, how easily persuaded into bad ideas directors can be, and just generally what a crap time he had doing videos.
“I f*cking hate videos. I hate everything about them…I don’t like the fact that the people that are making them think they’re making f*cking Apocalypse Now.”
