The video above, which the family considers to be their year-in-review “annual newsletter,” has been slowly going mega-viral since it was published on YouTube late last week, bringing news of the Holderness family’s 2013 to 1.8 million people so far.

You might be wondering why this family put so much production into a fun family video. Nice catch, SND reader! The video is actually something of a publicity stunt. “Papa” Holderness is a news anchor for WNCN, but he’s splitting off to start a new marketing and media company with his wife, Kim.
