Ace Frehley’s Home Goes Up In Flames, No One Hurt


Ace Frehley House Fire

Former KISS lead guitarist Ace Frehley saw his home go up in flames late Saturday morning. The home, located in Yorktown Heights, New York, was heavily damaged with flames seen burning through the roof.

The musician was fighting foreclosure on the property in Westchester County Court at the time of the fire, according to Fox News. Frehley released a statement about the incident on his Facebook page Saturday evening, thanking the fire department and police for their response and the job they performed He wrote:

A neighbor told the media that a caretaker was living in the home at the time of the fire, and the Red Cross helped a resident with emergency lodging after the fire was put out.

Ace Frehley was a founding member of KISS and performed with the band until 2002 during what was billed as their farewell tour. It wasn’t clear where he was at the time of the fire.
