Amy Poehler and Billy Eichner went caroling with New Yorkers in a not-so-polite fashion. Eichner, who stars in Funny of Die’s Billy On The Streets, makes a living yelling at people on the streets of New York, and he appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live this week to present a special Christmas surprise.
Eichner and Poehler, dressed in caroling costumes, were seen on the video accosting New Yorkers and trying to get them to sing carols with them. If they join in, they earn some money. If they don’t know the words, then the pair are likely to yell, run away, and laugh.
There are a few people who don’t appreciate Billy and Amy, and it is understandable, considering they are shoving a microphone into their victims’ faces and pestering them to sing. Included in the victims are a few people who grudgingly sing until they forget the words, one who doesn’t even get the chance, and a man who is incredibly excited about getting to meet Poehler.
And then there’s the guy who doesn’t even know who Amy Poehler is. Well, good luck bro.
While we’re not sure this video actually qualifies as a prank, like some outlets are calling it, the caroling video is definitely entertaining.
