James Van Der Beek paid a sweet tribute to former co-star Paul Walker on Twitter this week after coming across some Varsity Blues memorabilia in a storage unit.

Van Der Beek shared a photo of himself and Walker on Twitter, writing:

The actor also shared a few more photos from his Varsity Blues days.

James Van Der Beek was one of several actors whose life was affected by Paul Walker, and who took to social media to mourn their friend after he died in a fiery car accident on November 30. The actor wrote:

Paul Walker was cremated in a private service open only to his family members this weekend. A second gathering will also take place and include his close friends, likely Van Der Beek, Vin Diesel, Tyrese Gibson, and others. The event is invitation only.
