Pentatonix Kicks Off Holidays With ‘Little Drummer Boy’ A Capella [Video]

Pentatonix Little Drummer Boy Viral

Pentatonix kicked off the holiday season early with an a capella version of “Little Drummer Boy.” The video was uploaded on Monday and already has more than 6 million views.

The group consists of five vocalists, Scott Hoying, Kristie Maldonado, Mitch Grassi, Avi Kaplan, and Kevin Olusola. They have several other official songs, including covers of Lorde’s “Royals,” an evolution of Beyonce, and a Daft Punk medley. But it appears the group’s latest video is a Christmas tribute. The group covers songs from several different genres, including rock, hip-hop, oldies, and country.

Their rendition of “Little Drummer Boy” is off of Pentatonix’s PTXmas album, which is available on the iTunes store for $7.99.
