Jack Daniel’s Launches Viral Photo Contest, Submit Your Bad Holiday Gifts To Win

Jack Daniels Its The Thought That Counts Contest

The Jack Daniel’s #ItsTheThoughtThatCounts contest wants to remind us that some really bad gifts come for a place of love. Okay really they just want us to show off the really horrid gifts we have received from friends, family, and loved ones over the years.

Entering the contest is simple, just visit https://holiday.jackdaniels.com/ and upload your truly bad Christmas, Hannukah, and other holiday gifts.

On the page Jack Daniel’s writes:

A celebration of not-so-great gifts

This holiday season, gather with friends and family and raise a glass to all the bad, yet well-intentioned, gifts you’ve received over the years. Share a photo of these not-so great gifts and you’ll be registered to win a limited-edition Jack Daniel’s holiday sweater. But please remember, no matter how bad the gift, it’s not what’s under the tree that matters, it’s who’s around it.”

Either upload a photo of the gift from your computer or post the photo on Instagram or Twitter and tag it with #ItsTheThoughtThatCounts.

On the Jack Daniel’s page a Pinterest style setup allows users to Facebook Share or Tweet each photo for a vote. Keep in mind that Jack Daniel’s will not start counting votes until the contest begins on December 16.

It’s easy to take over a tag on Twitter, Instagram, and other social networks. However, Jack Daniel’s has a fun contest on its hands and we have a feeling it will be celebrated by whiskey loving drinkers.

The main prize? The sweet looking Jack Daniel’s holiday sweater pictures at the top of this post. You are sure to be the envy of all your friends when you stumble into their homes wearing that magnificent chick magnet.
