YouTuber Proves Mark Zuckerberg Was Right, We Really Are Dumb F*cks [Viral Video]

Jack Vale

YouTube prankster Jack Vale’s social media experiment makes an interesting (and compelling) point about the amount of personal information we put online.

In his latest video, Vale walks around confronting perfect strangers with shocking personal information about their families, birthdays, and of course, their names. It’s pretty creepy, until you realize that he got all of this information online. And he got it easily.

All he had to do was search for recent social media posts in his general area. After that, he was able to access the profiles of individuals nearby. He found out their names, what they look like, and whatever information he could gather from their account.

The reactions are stunning, and, pretty telling about how people still perceive the walls that stand between the Internet, social media and reality. We don’t really think twice when our devices ask us for access to our locations, and thus, those walls are thinner than we realize.

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg once famously quipped that people are “dumb fucks” for trusting him with all of their personal data. Watch the video above. We do look pretty dumb.
