T.R. Knight married his boyfriend over the weekend and he had a few famous faces in the audience. Katherine Heigl, who appeared on Grey’s Anatomy with Knight, shared a few photos from the ceremony today on Twitter.

Heigl attended the wedding with her husband Josh Kelley. Actress Kate Walsh also attended the “small ceremony” to witness Knight’s wedding.

Heigl left Grey’s Anatomy in 2010 but she’s still close with some of the cast members but her relationship is strained with others. Heigl abruptly left the show when she started getting big money to appear in movies like Knocked Up.
Her former co-star Ellen Pompeo said: “You could understand why she wanted to go — when you’re offered $12 million a movie and you’re only 26. But Katie’s problem is that she should not have renewed her contract. She re-upped, took a big raise and then tried to get off the show. And then her movie career did not take off.”
