Casey Kasem and his family aren’t getting along well at the moment. The legendary radio host is reportedly very sick and stuck in his home with his wife Jean. The DJ’s children are hoping to see Casey one last time before he passes away but Jean has reportedly locked the doors.
Casey Kasem has a large fortune and the family is apparently arguing over money.
Kerri Kasem, however, told the NY Daily News that Casey’s children don’t expect any money from their father.
Keri said:
“Look, people fight and they don’t like each other, and that’s fine. But it’s cruel to keep us from seeing our dad … We don’t want any money from Jean. We don’t care about that. We were raised well, and we support ourselves. My dad is very sick, and we have been completely shut off from him for the last three months. There is no money issue here, we just want to see our dad. We love him, and everyone knows his kids and grandkids are a source of joy for him.”
The Casey Kasem drama exploded last night when the children, as well as a few supporters, held a mini supporters outside of the radio host’s home. Jean eventually had to call the police to have them escorted off the property.
Kerry Casem took to Twitter to share a photo about the family drama. The 41-year-old, who is also a radio host, said that she has to fight for her father because he’s too sick to fight for himself.

Kerri has always stood up for those who couldn’t stand up for themselves. Mainly, animals. Kerri Casem is also no stranger to protests.

The quote, “The world will not be destroyed by those who do evil, but by those who watch them without doing anything,” is basically her motto. So when someone messes with her father, well, she’s going to do something about it.
We don’t have all the information about the Casey Kasem family feud but we’re hoping that Kerri and her brothers and sisters will be able to see their father one last time.
