Need proof that video game nerds are sometimes a little hard to deal with? Take a look at this clip from the recent midnight launch of Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto 5.
When you work in retail, you occasionally encounter people who just aren’t designed to be happy. After he had some trouble snagging his copy of the highly-anticipated open-world epic, the angry guy with the glasses got into a heated exchange with a Gamestop employee.
Here’s the kicker: The whole thing was captured on amateur video. Although the woman working behind the counter could have handled things a little better — wisecracking as a customer walks away is never a good idea — the guy is still blowing the situation way out of proportion.
While some customers were a handful, the launch of GTA 5 was very successful. Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive reportedly made a whopping $800 million during the first 24 hours of release.
Word of advice: If you’re going to pick up a title at Gamestop, don’t forget your ID. After all, nobody ever wants to star in this sort of YouTube video.
Check out the uncomfortable confrontation below.
Grand Theft Auto 5 is available now. Try your best not to let the game totally take control of your life.

Im on the customer's side.
I've never heard of this site, and no wonder. It's not run very well. The reason the customer was upset (apparently you missed it or just report on news you here from other sites) is because the manager threatened to give out his personal email to the customers in the store.
Here's the Kicker..
She asked for his ID.. for a M+ game. That is standard policy, and if you pre ordered it. To prove you are who you say you are. It's also required.
So this kid was asked to provide ID. He gave her attitude.
I use to work at Gamestop, and when People got pushy and over baring. I have the Right of Refusal of Business.
If he purchased a copy of the Game, up front.. You give him his receipt and tell him to go else where showing Proof of Purchase.
As a Consumer.. you treat every one with respect. Even those who have to serve you.
Kids Lucky I wasn't in the store.. Would have removed him myself.. Cops would have been called.. and he wouldn't have gotten his Stupid Video game.

Your Email isn't protected like your Health Information.
It's sold to companies for advertising purposes, and consumer reports.
So,
To your response for the kid to be a complete asshole over an ID. Who wins..
People need more patience in life. It's a video game.
She was representing a business and she was unprofessional I am sure she lost her job pretty fast.
thats something you talk about later on with your employees not right after they turn there backs and on camera. ill chock it up to a long day at work and not enough redbull…..she didnt have wings…
she was a bitch and threaten to give out his personal info she deserved it
"Right to refusal of business" != mocking people.
Customer was a dick,
She dealt with it like a dick.

I would "condescendingly" Mock a person if they were out of line.
I have no problem not sugar coating my opinion if you are being a dick in a public place.
I would like to point out also, that I was a Gamestop employee for a few years, always had above number in sales, subscription, and reservation.
Left the company on my own accord
And I have removed people from my store more then once.
Even got pushed through a Halo Cardboard Cut out, and that kid found out the hard. Became very close friends with the sidewalk that day. That was the Xbox 360 Release date.
