Brittney Griner recently opened up about how she was bullied in high school about her appearance. The WNBA star has been able to rise above the hate to become a role model for young women and the LGBT community but that doesn’t mean that the bullying has stopped. Last night, a group of internet trolls posted several insulting comments about Griner during the ESPY Awards.

Are you surprised that Brittney Griner is still being bullied over h er appearance? Will a woman ever be able to dominant her sport without being compared to a man? There are plenty of men out there (ahem, internet trolls) who can’t compare to Griner’s skills.
