Paul Deen’s Innocent Tweet Attracts The Full Wrath Of ‘Black Twitter’

Paula Deen has a lot to learn about Twitter. Lesson 1, when you are accused of racism anything you say on Twitter will likely face the wrath of a phenomenon known as “Black Twitter.”

The TV chef took to the social network this week with an innocent enough tweet that quickly turned against her. Here’s Paula Deen’s original potluck inspired tweet:

Immediately following that Tweet “Black Twitter” jumped into action:

And the list goes on and on and on.

Paula Deen has reportedly hired a team of PR experts, if that’s true perhaps they should educate their client about the dangers of Tweet hijacking.
